With an emphasis on obtaining all pertinent information, our investigators obtain in-person written and recorded statements from witnesses in a variety of settings that include: workers’ compensation claims (aoe/coe investigations), criminal cases, workplace theft, automobile claims…etc.  We then provide detailed reports summarizing the information obtained with highlights of key issues in the matter.

Surveillance/Sub-rosa

Personal surveillance is a growing need for our clientele.  We employ professionally trained investigators to obtain documentary videotape and photographs of individuals for your various needs.  ESI uses the latest video recording equipment to provide video tapes/discs and color photographs of our subjects.  Our investigation techniques have provided evidence leading to the prosecution of individuals for workers’ compensation fraud on numerous occasions.

We can also conduct an “activity check”, which is a brief period of surveillance that includes discreet inquiries into an individual’s daily activities. 

Liability Investigations

Working on behalf of several large insurance companies, ESI conducts investigations to help determine liability in personal injury cases resulting from automobile accidents, slip-and-falls, defective products, workplace incidents, altercations...etc. These investigations involve detailed scene inspections, statements from witnesses, and the acquisition of any police or accidents report.  Photographs are included with our detailed report of the incident.

Scene Investigations

We are often asked to immediately respond to accident scenes in order to gather preliminary information for law firms and insurance claims administrators.  These investigations involve contact with all witnesses and authorities involved.  The information we gather is at times crucial to the further handling of any lawsuits or insurance claims.

Locates/Searches

Using exclusive database and internet searches we are capable of gathering information about individuals, companies, and other institutions.  Our extensive searches include: locates, criminal/civil records, backgrounds, assets, professional licenses, and other specific searches.
